Lloyd Leslie Jr.An 18-year-old unemployed and a 17-year-old High School student of a Northside school were arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Friday September 23rd on two counts of robbery and two counts of handling stolen goods. The charges arose after two cell phones that were stolen during two separate robberies from women were found in their possession.

The two young men are 18-year old Lloyd Leslie Jr., and a 17-year-old student who appeared in Court #5 before Magistrate Albert Hoare. They were jointly charged with two counts each of robbery for allegedly robbing two women: Sherilee Saldano and Deshawn Audinett on Monday, September 19th in Belize City.During the robbery the women lost their cell phones value $220 and $239 respectfully.

The duo was additionally charged with two counts each of handling stolen goods after police found them in possession of the women’s phone on Tuesday, September 20th, in Belize City.

In court, the two accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and bail was offered in the sum of $6,000 plus one surety of the same amount.  They are due back in court #5 on November 21st.
