Cruz Anthony AllenOn Monday October 31st Cruz Anthony Allen appeared in Magistrate’s Court before Chief Magistrate, Anna Marie Smith. Allen was charged with burglarizing the business place of Daniel Fabro, namely Fabro’s Limited, located at #27 Freetown Road.


During the burglary it is alleged that he stole a black 19 inch television set valued at $1,000.00, a silver and black JVC brand stereo with two speakers valued at $500.00, a black and red router valued $400, a blue and white bag value at $10.00, an Olympus Digital camera valued at $350.00 and a pair of tennis shoes valued at $150.00; all to the total of $2,410.00.  Allen was additional charged with handling stolen goods in the sum of $2,410.00, all of the items were allegedly found in Allen’s possession. Police say that Daniel Fabro caught Allen red handed burglarizing his business place. 

When he appeared before the Chief Magistrate he was told that because he has several previous convictions for crimes of dishonesty and because he has other burglary charges pending before the court, she will remand him to prison. In his defense Allen told the Chief Magistrate that he is the sole bread winner of his family being the only son that is living home with his mother who depends on him since he is working.
