 Calvary Temple’s Adler Romero rounding third baseThe 2011-2012 Belize City Primary Schools Softball Competition came to an end on Friday May 25, 2012, at Rogers Stadium with 4 games on the schedule.


In the only girls’ game played Wesley Upper School defeated Holy Redeemer School by the score of 11-4. The winning pitcher was Shandy Vernon and the losing pitcher was Sharen Lewis.

In the first of three boys’ games played, St. Martin De Porres defeated Calvary Temple School by the score of 17-2. The winning pitcher was Derrick Menzies and the losing pitcher was Brian Medina.

In game two, Holy Redeemer School edged Wesley Upper School by the score of 4-3. The winning pitcher was Daniel Echevarria and the losing pitcher was Jamal Augustus.

In the final game of the day, St. Luke Methodist defeated Calvary Temple School by the score of 13-4. The winning pitcher was Brian Medina and the losing pitcher was Marcos Martinez.

On Thursday May 24, in the first of two girls’ games played, Unity Presbyterian School defeated Salvation Army School by the score of 11-8. The winning pitcher was Ashanti Carr and the losing pitcher was Shanell Rowland.

In game two, Buttonwood Bay Nazarene continued on its winning streak when it defeated St. Mary’s Primary School by the score of 14-1. The winning pitcher was Brian Pavon and the losing pitcher was Christian Bailey.

In the first of two boys games played, St. Martin De Porres defeated St. Luke Methodist School by the score of 14-4. The winning pitcher was Derrick Menzies and the losing pitcher was Marcos Martinez.
