Orwin NoralesOn Monday, June 11, 35-year-old BDF Soldier, Orwin Noralez appeared in Magistrate's Court before Magistrate Hettie Mae Stuart to answer to charges of harm and threatening words against his common-law wife, 29-year-old Melissa Williams. Noralez pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In court, there were concerns over bail being granted since both parties live in the same house. As a result, Noralez was ordered to move out of the house and stay away from the victim and her relatives; he is not to interfere with her or any of her relatives until the conclusion of the case. Noralez was ordered to go to the house accompanied by police to remove only his personal belongings. He was then granted bail in the sum of 2 thousand dollars and the matter was adjourned until July 24th.

In a report to police, the 29-year-old Williams told them that on Saturday, June 9, at about 2:30 p.m., she was at home located at #23 Linda Vista cleaning up her room when her common-law-husband Orwin Noralez came into the room and asked her for his Social Security Card and Boat driver’s license. She further claimed that when she refused to give it to him, he allegedly grabbed her in her hair and began to drag her around the room and threatened to kill her.
