Man accused of Stealing Motorcycle Print E-mail

Alaric CocomAlaric Cocom, 20, appeared in Magistrate's Court on Monday, June 11th to answer to charges of theft and in the alternative a count of handling stolen goods. He appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer where he was read the two charges. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of 4 thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount. He is due back in court on August 10th.

On May 30, Cocom was accused of dishonestly  appropriating a blue and red 2010 Meilum  motorcycle the property of Jean Desire, a Haitian national of Priority Security Company. Desire reported to police that on that day, his motorcycle was parked in front of Priority Security Company located on Freetown Road between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. when it was stolen by someone. Police later recovered the motorcycle in Taylor’s Alley and as a result arrested and charge Alaric Cocom.
