Oscar Gonzales, 22, who had been remanded for being in the illegal possession of a firearm and a live round of ammunition, was granted bail of ,000, when he appeared on Thursday, July 27th, in the Supreme Court.
There were no objections to bail but with the condition that he is to report on every Monday to the Queen Street Police Station.

On June 14th, 2012, police searched a house on Ordonez Street. There they discovered a sawed-off shotgun and a 16 gauge cartridge.

Present at the time of the search were Delon Hinds, 21, Oscar Gonzales, 22, Rasheem Garnett, 19, and three minors.

Gonzales and Garnett were jointly charged with keeping a prohibited firearm and keeping ammunition without a gun license.
