On Saturday, October 6th, elections and endorsements took place for the New UDP Executive Committee for the Toledo West Division. The meeting was held in Columbia Village, Toledo. Present for the selection of officers were Party Chairman Hon. Patrick Faber; Roosevelt Blades, Vice-Chairman and National Party Coordinator, Ruben Campos. Also present was the Divisional Caretaker Juan Coy.
Elected to serve in the constituency were Chairperson: Nicasio Sanchez and members: Richard Peck, Andres Coh, Adrian Cus, Lindley Ramclam, Enero Bol, Nelson Teck, Anna Muschamp, Domingo Cal, Santiago Sam, Eduardo Pou, Galo Mejangre, Alberto Choco, Rufino Choc and Andres Canti. Selected as alternates were: Irideo Bolon, Emilio Makin, Gustavo Bul, Francisco Chub and Juan Cus.
At the gathering, Hon. Patrick Faber addressed them and explained that it was important to be united as a Party and continue to work together to return Toledo West with a UDP Representative. He encouraged the newly elected executive committee to be vocal, to participate in the political affairs of the division and work together with the caretaker to unite the party.
After the address, the Hon. Patrick Faber, then swore in the new executive members.
The party continued its organization of the Toledo District over the weekend and on Sunday, October 7th, the election and endorsement of the New UDP Executive Committee for Toledo East also took place. The event took place at the newly renovated Town Council Conference Room. The Party Chairman, Vice Chairman and National Party Coordinator were all present for the selection process. Also present was the Divisional Caretaker, Peter Eden Martinez.
After the elections Heston Wagner was selected as the Chairperson while Alberto Coy, Pulcheria Teul, Fern Gutierrez, Hansel Warrior, Marcos Coy, Kenton Parham, Evert Mangar, Julio Cal, Edwin Gomez, Eric Gutierrez, Elena Gabriel, Anita Nicholas, and Duwane Wagner were selected as members. Alternates are Candice Tate, Pedro Batz, Leeroy Ned Supaul, Clementian Vellair and Franklin Martinez.
In addressing the gathering Hon. Faber stated that the UDP must remain united in the division and continue to again return the Toledo West division with a UDP representative. He encouraged the newly elected committee to be active participants in the political affairs of the division and work along with the caretaker to unite the party.
Roosevelt Blades, Vice Chairman, then proceeded to swear in the new executive members.
