Joe CoyeFormer Area Representative for the Caribbean Shores Constituency, Joe Coye was in court on Tuesday, October 9th where he had applied to have a case against him struck out. The matter was one where the Government of Belize is taking Coye before the court on charges of misfeasance in public office. Last week, the case went to case management and on Tuesday, October 9th, Chief Justice Kenneth Benjamin denied an application by Coye to strike out the case. With that the matter will proceed and the Government was given until October 19th to present its disclosure.
