Undefeated Salvation Army boysThe Belize City Primary Schools Football Competition continued on Monday, November 12th, 2012, at the MCC Grounds with four games in the boys’ competition.

In the first game played, Ebenezer Methodist blanked Belize Elementary School by the score of 6-0. The goals for Ebenezer Methodist were scored by Tyreek Muschamp with three, Marcos Rojas, Dion Cacho and Jonathon Perrera with one each.

In the second game played, Calvary Temple School and St. Ignatius School played to a 0-0 draw. In game three, Salvation Army School maintained a perfect record in this year’s competition so far when it held St. Martin De Porres School to a 1-1 draw. The goal for Salvation Army School was scored by Marvin Martinez, while the goal for St. Martin De Porres was scored by Marquis Conorquie.

In the fourth and final game of the afternoon, Unity Presbyterian improved its record to 3-1 when it blanked St. Luke Methodist by the score of 3-0. The goals for Unity Presbyterian were scored by July Barrientos, with two and Eli Portillo with one.

On Friday, November 9th, in the first of three boys’ games played, Ebenezer Methodist blanked its neighbour Holy Redeemer School by the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Tyreek Muschamp.

In game two, Queen Square Anglican won over its sister school St. Mary’s Anglican via the default route.

And in the final game of the afternoon, St. John Vianney continued its dominance in this year’s Belize City Primary Schools Football Competition when it captured its 6th consecutive victory of the season with a 3-1 win over Unity Presbyterian. The goal scorers for St. John Vianney were Orlando Velasquez with two and one by Akeem Sutherland, meanwhile the only goal of the game for Unity Presbyterian was scored by July Barrientos.

The competition continued on Thursday, November 8th with four games on the schedule. In the only girls’ game played, Holy Redeemer won over Muslim Community by the score of 1-0. Jennifer Estrada scored the goal that gave Holy Redeemer the victory.

In the first of the three games played in the boys’ competition, Holy Redeemer and Muslim Community played to a 2-2 draw. The goals for Holy Redeemer were scored by Herman Card and Clayshaun Lewis. Meanwhile, both goals for Muslim Community was scored by Tirique Ciego.

In game two, Salvation Army and Queen Square Anglican played to a 0-0 draw. In the final game, St. John Vianney defeated Calvary Temple School handily by the score of 10-0. The goals for St. John Vianney were scored by Kenroy Linares with three, Shawn Pitter with two, Akeem Sutherland  and Orlando Velasquez with two each and Nathan Oliver who scored one.
