New Yo Chen Executive CommitteeThe United Democratic Party in Corozal North continues its organization for the upcoming village council elections.  On Saturday, November 24th, the UDP supporters of the Village of Yo-Chen met and elected a slate to contest the upcoming Village Council Elections scheduled for 2013.

The candidates include Albert Puck, who will run for chairman and Pedro Che, Teresa Puck, Maximiliana Chan, Virginia Marin, Rosa Chan and Eustaquia Puck, who will run a as councilor candidates.
Area Representative for Corozal North and Minister of State in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Agriculture, Hon. Hugo Patt addressed the UDP supporters and informed them of the good efforts that the UDP Government was doing for the country and in particular for the people of the Corozal North division.

He mentioned the investment that the government was putting into the sugar roads to assist the cane farmers in preparation for the new sugar cane season. He also mentioned the need for everyone to work together as a community to prioritize the needs of the village and pledged his  support in partnership  programs.

The UDP National Party Coordinator, Ruben Campos, represented the Secretariat and conducted the election process.
