Dean Dawson Jr.On Friday, April 12, police charged 22-year-old Dean Dawson Jr. for the murder of Wallace Donald Matura. On February 15, 48-year-old Wallace Donald Matura was shot while standing in front of VIP Wireless at the corner of Orange Street and East Canal. Since the matter is an indictable offense, no plea was taken at the Magistrate’s Court and bail could not be granted. Dawson Jr. will be remanded at the Belize Central prison until his next court appearance on June 11.
