On Sunday, May 19th, in the first game played, No Limits won handily over Digicell by the score of 49-62. The top scorers for No Limits were Greg Rudon with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists; and Jacob Leslie with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Meanwhile, the top scorers for the Digicell squad were Karim Thompson with 27 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals; and Raheem Staine with 11 points, 3 rebounds and 5 steals.

In the second game of the day, it was Police winning over Youth Services by the score of 70-68. The top scorers for the Police were Orlando Bowen with 23 points and 11 rebounds; Linton Broaster with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals; and Kennard Clark with 8 points, and 2 rebounds.  For Youth Services, the top scorers were Lennox Bowman with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals; and Brian White with 12 points, and 10 rebounds.

On Saturday, May 18th, in the first game played, Police edged CYDP by the score of 65-63. The top scorers for the Police were Shane Rosales with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals; and Sheldon Williams with 15 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. For the CYDP squad, the top scorers were Bernard Felix with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals; and Leroy Louriano with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals.

In second and final game of the evening, Tuff “E” Nuff continued on its winning streak when it upended Youth Services by the score of 88-79. The top scorers for Tuff “E” Nuff were Winston Pratt with 19 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal; Farron Louriano with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals; and Densmore Edwards and Jamal Kelly with 13 points each. For Youth Services, the top scorers were Lennox Bowman with 30 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals; and Kenroy Usher with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The competition then continued on Thursday, May 16th with three more games on the schedule. In the first game, it was Abyssinians winning over Youth Services by the score of 98-88. The top scorers for the Abyssinians were Darwin Leslie with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals; Marcel Orosco with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists; and Rupert Brown with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.

For Youth Services, the top scorers were Brian White with 25 points and 19 rebounds; and Lennox Bowman with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 4 steals.

In game two, Sir Belikin halted the Police in its track by the score of 80-72. The top scorers for Sir Belikin were Jarrell Vasquez with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist; Ty Bradley with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals; and Dorian Jones with 16 points, and 11 rebounds. Meanwhile, the top scorers for the Police were Sheldon Williams with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals; Orlando Bowen with 18 points and 10 rebounds; and Jason Augustine with 12 point, and 8 rebounds.

In the final game of the evening, CYDP edged Youth Services by the score of 75-74. The top scorers for CYDP were Bernard Felix with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals; and Matthew Young with 13 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 steals. The top scorers for Youth Services were Lennox Bowman with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals; and Brian White with 15 points, 15 rebounds and 2 steals.

The competition will continue on Thursday, May 23rd, 2013 with two more games at the Bird’s Isle. In the first game at 7:00 pm, it will be Digicell against Allied Insurance “Abyssinians” and in game two it will be Oceana “No Limits” against the mighty Police.
