Lawrence Bol and Elvira Ack were due to have their first child on August 18th of this year. Unfortunately, the couple from San Antonio, Toledo had to rush to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where on Friday, July 12th, Ack gave birth to a baby girl. The baby was born five weeks premature but the couple was happy because she was born alive. However, on Sunday the couple received the devastating news that their baby had passed away. They were traumatized by the news and struggled to make sense of it. A very emotional Bol said, “My baby was healthy; she was good. I come home and when I gone back on Sunday I find she dead.” A post-mortem examination was conducted by Pathologist, Dr. Hugh Sanchez, on Tuesday, July 16th, which revealed that the premature infant had a “latent congenital abnormality of the heart which was incompatible with sustaining life”. The family is asking for support from the public to cover funeral and hospital expenses. Bol’s number is 626-0806.
