Hon. Patrick Faber addresses the gatheringThe churches and pastors of the Collet division along with Area Representative, Hon. Patrick Faber, officially launched the Collet Every Home Crusade. The initiative is one where churches from the constituency will be doing outreach programs in the community to attract more people to the church as well as assist in development. The program will run from October 1st to November 7th and will see church leaders and other active members of the evangelical churches reaching out into the Collet constituency doing house-to-house visits.

Hon. Patrick Faber who spoke at the launching of the campaign said that as much as he possibly can, he will also be joining the churches during their visits. He added that it is not an ordinary occurrence to have churches and politicians joining forces as they are seen as "oil and water", but he noted that from his point of view both have similar objectives and it was only natural for such a partnership to take place.  Hon. Faber asked that the residents not only open their homes, but also their hearts to Jesus.

Also speaking at the opening was Pastor Esther Choe from World Harvest Mission Center, she noted that it is time for the churches to take a more active role at improving the lives of residents of the city. "The church is not only the four walls," she stated and added that the churches have been neglecting their responsibilities; however, the crusade promises to change that.
