The Premier League of Belize 2013 Opening Season Belikin Cup competition continued over the last week of play with three games.

On Saturday, October 19, at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan, the Belmopan Bandits blanked the defending champions Police United by the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Deon McCauley of the Belmopan Bandits in the 45th minute of play.

Meanwhile, at the Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo town, the home team Verdes FC also blanked the visiting Paradise/Freedom Fighters by the score of 1-0. Nahjib Guerra scored Verdes’ goal in the 33rd minute of play for big win.

In the final game of the evening played out at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga Town, the current leaders in this year’s competition the Belize Defence Force shut-out FC Belize by the score of 2-0. The 1st goal of the game for the Belize Defence Force was scored by Stephen Martinez in the 8th minute of play that gave his team the only goal really needed. However, in the 90th minute of play, Tarrel Flores scored his team’s 2nd and final goal of the game for the big win.
