Cop charge with indecent assault upon woman police officer Print E-mail

PC Randolph ScottOn Tuesday, November 5th, 30-year-old Police Constable  Randolph Scott appeared in Magistrate's Court where he was charged with aggravated assault of an indecent nature and harm upon a female police officer. Scott appeared before Magistrate Dale Cayetano where he was unrepresented and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

There was no objection to bail and he was offered it in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount which he met.

Randolph Scott is due back in Court on December 12, 2013.

In a report to police, the woman police officer reported that on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at about 11:15 p.m., whilst she was working station duties at the Precinct #4 Police Station, she was approached by PC #1149, Randolph Scott who reported sexually assaulted her.

The woman police further alleged that when she refused his advances and she tried to defend herself, that’s when PC Scott punched her in the mouth causing her to sustain a bruise to the inner lower lip.
A doctor who examined the woman classified her injuries as harm.
