Nazarene High School girls lead in high school softball Print E-mail

The Central Region Secondary Schools Softball Competition continues at Rogers Stadium with a number of games on the schedule.

On Tuesday February 11 in the male competition, St. John’s College edged Wesley College by the score of 12-11. The winning pitcher was Dillan Snaggs and the losing pitcher was Keeron Young.

In the female competition game played on Monday February 10, Nazarene High School continued on its winning path when it defeated Ladyville Technical High School by the score of 5-4. The winning pitcher was Elma Wade and the losing pitcher was Amber Wade.

On Saturday February 9, in the first of two female games played, Anglican Cathedral College defeated St. Catherine Academy by the score of 24-9. The winning pitcher was Ashley Alarcon and the losing pitcher was Jacqueline Alas. In the second female game, Gwen Lizarraga High defeated Pallotti High School by the score of 19-4. The winning pitcher was Jerlene Bowden and the losing pitcher was Jinnelle Flowers.

In the first of three male games played, Nazarene High School defeated Wesley College by the score of 10-6. The winning pitcher was Jerome Carr and the losing pitcher was Keeron Young. In game two, Ladyville Technical defeated Excelsior High by the score of 16-8. The winning pitcher was Issac Dominguez and the losing pitcher was Adolphus Pavon.

And in the final game of the day, St. John’s College blasted Gwen Lizarraga High by the score of 12-2. The winning pitcher was Dillan Snaggs and the losing pitcher was Devontae Middleton.

On Friday February 7, in the female competition, Nazarene High School defeated Wesley College by the score of 7-3. The winning pitcher was Elma Wade and the losing pitcher was Brianna Meighan.

In the male game, Nazarene High School defeated St. John’s College by the score of 6-4. The winning pitcher was Jerome Carr and the losing pitcher was Daniel Snaggs.

The competition then continued on Thursday February 6 with one game in the female competition it which Gwen Lizarraga High School defeated Anglican Cathedral College by the score of 11-9. The winning pitcher was Tyra Moreira and the losing pitcher was Ashley Alarcon.

And on Wednesday February 5, Nazarene High School defeated St. Catherine Academy by the score of 13-3. The winning pitcher was Elma Wade and the losing pitcher was Jacqueline Alas.
