On Friday night at the Andres Campos Stadium in Corozal Town, the visiting Belize City “No Limit” defeated the Corozal Heats by the score of 78 – 75.

In Dangriga Town at the Y-NOT Island, the Dangriga Warriors edged out the Belmopan Bandits by the score of 57-56. The top scorers for the Dangriga Warriors were Trevaughan Usher who scored 16 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal and Jamir Flores who contributed 10 points towards the win. Flores also had 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. For the Belmopan Bandits, the top scorers were Jamal Harris with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Kyle Pascascio with 11 points, 2 rebounds and 8 steals.

On Saturday February 15, at the PG Sports Complex, the home team the Toledo Diplomats edged out the San Pedro Tigersharks by the score of 89-87. The top scorers for the Toledo Diplomats were Daniel Valerio with 27 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked and Jamal Avila and Evon Lino with 13 points each. For the San Pedro Tigersharks, the top scorers were Winston Pratt with 21 points, 10 rebounds, Marcel Orosco with 17 points, 2 rebounds, and Mike Adams with 13 points.

And in the final game of the week played on Sunday February 16 at the Orange Walk Multi-Purpose Building, the Cayo Western Ballaz won handily over the Orange Walk Running Rebels by the score of 80-70. The top scorers for Cayo Western Ballaz were Farrion Lauriano with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals, Kurt Burgess with 14 points, 19 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal, and Ivan Flowers with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Meanwhile, the top scorers for the Orange Walk Running Rebels were Randy Usher with 29 points, 3 rebounds and Leith Pauline with 11 points, and 6 rebounds.

The competition will continue this coming weekend.
