St. Luke Methodist Girls and Boys win in Primary schools Softball Competition Print E-mail

The Belize City primary Schools Softball Competition continues at Rogers Stadium with a number of games during the week.

On Tuesday, March 3, in the girls’ competition played, St. Luke Methodist School defeated its sister school Trinity Methodist by the score of 15-2. The winning pitcher was Destiny Dobson and the losing pitcher was Davina Perrera.

In the boys’ game, St. Luke Methodist also won over St. Mary’s Primary School by the score of 12-4. The winning pitcher was Avery Rudon and the losing pitcher was Michael Segura.

On Monday, March 3, in girls’ competition, Calvary Temple School defeated Wesley Upper School by the score of 8-6. The winning pitcher was Pauline Jex and the losing pitcher was Erica Cadogan.

In the boys’ game, Calvary Temple also won over Wesley Upper School by the score of 5-4. The winning pitcher was Mario Fuller and the losing pitcher was Andy Alford.

The competition then continued on Friday, February 28 with two more games on the schedule. In the girls’ game, St. John Vianney defeated St. Martin De Porres School by the score of 13-2.

Meanwhile, in the boys’ competition game, Central Christian School continued on its winning path when it defeated St. Martin De Porres School by the score of 11-1. The winning pitcher was Dennis Jefferies and the losing pitcher was Keauan Avilez.

On Thursday, February 27, in girls’ competition, Muslim Community won over St. John’s Primary School via the default route. In the boys’ competition, Unity Presbyterian School edged St. John’s Primary School by the score of 12-11. The winning pitcher was Shemmar Bowen and the losing pitcher was Shemar Martinez.

And on Wednesday, February 26, in the girls’ game, Holy Redeemer School defeated Trinity Methodist School by the score of 18-1. The winning pitcher was Zaria Jenkins and the losing pitcher was Davina Perrera.

Meanwhile, in the boys’ competition game played, it was Trinity Methodist School winning over Calvary Temple School by the score of 16-2.The winning pitcher was Willison Lalin and the losing pitcher was Mario Fuller.
