Belize City primary schools volleyball competition opens this Wednesday Print E-mail

The 2013-2014 Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball Competition will commenced on Wednesday April 30, at the Bird’s Isle with four games on the schedule.

The schools that are competing in the girls’ competition are Hummingbird Elementary School, Holy Redeemer School, Muslim Community School, Wesley Upper School, All Saint’s Anglican School, Belize Elementary School, St. Ignatius School, and St. Mary’s Anglican School, St. Martin De Porres School and St. John Vianney School.

Meanwhile, the schools that will participate in the boys’ competition are Hummingbird Elementary School, Holy Redeemer School, Trinity Methodist School, Wesley Upper School, All Saint’s Anglican School, Queen Street Baptist School, Belize Elementary School, St. Ignatius School, St. John’s Primary School, St. Martin De Porres School and St. John Vianney School.

On Wednesday April 30, in the first game of the competition scheduled for 1:15 pm in the girls’ game it will be Holy Redeemer against Hummingbird Elementary, followed by boys’ game 1, Holy Redeemer School against Hummingbird Elementary. In the second girls’ game of the afternoon, it will be Muslim Community School against Wesley Upper and in boys’ game 2; sister schools Wesley Upper School against Trinity Methodist School.

The competition will then continue on Friday May 2, with a total of 5 games on the schedule. In the first girls’ game at 1:15 pm it will be Belize Elementary School against St. Martin De Porres, followed by boys’ game 1, Belize Elementary School against St. Martin De Porres. In girls’ game two, St. Ignatius School will see action against St. Mary’s followed by boys’ game two where it will be St. Ignatius against St. John’s Primary and in the final boys game of the afternoon it will be All Saints’ against Queen Street Baptist School.
