The 2013-2014 Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball competition opened on Wednesday April 30, 2014 at the Bird’s Isle in Belize City.

On Wednesday April 30, in the girls’ game played, Holy Redeemer School defeated Hummingbird Elementary School by the score of 25-11, and 25-20. In the boys’ game, it was also Holy Redeemer School winning over Hummingbird Elementary School by the score of 25-13 and 25-18.

The competition then continued on Tuesday May 6, with three games on the schedule. In the girls’ game played, St. Ignatius School defeated St. John Vianney School in three sets by the score of 26-24, 20-25 and 15-4.

In the first of two games in the boys’ category, Holy Redeemer School defeated All Saints’ School by the score of 25-13 and 25-9.

And in the second game, it was Hummingbird Elementary School winning over Trinity Methodist School by the score of 25-21 and 25-7.

On Wednesday May 7, in the girls’ game played, Belize Elementary School defeated St. Mary’s Primary School by the score of 25-11 and 25-20.

In the first of three boys’ games played, Belize Elementary School won over St. John’s Primary School via the default route.

In game two, St. John Vianney School defeated St. Martin De Porres School by the score of 25-22, 22-25, and 15-11.

And in the final game of the afternoon, Queen Street Baptist School defeated Wesley Upper School by the score of 25-16 and 25-20.
