After today’s ceremony, there were 97 new corporals, 28 new sergeants, 29 new inspectors, 2 new assistant superintendents, 4 new superintendents, 3 new senior superintendents, 4 new assistant police commissioners, and 1 new deputy commissioner of police.

Some of the most significant changes as a result of these promotions is that Miguel Segura is now the Deputy Commissioner of Police. He was the head of the Eastern Division, and he will now be succeeded by Assistant Police Commissioner Desiree Phillips. Alford Grinage, the Officer Commanding Police Precinct 1 in Belize City is now a Senior Superintendent. Ralph Moody, the former Officer Commanding Cayo Police, is also a Senior Superintendent. Aaron Guzman, the commander of the Western Region; Joseph Myvette, the Commander of the Northern Region; and Robert Mariano, the Commander of the Southern Region, are all new assistant commissioners of police.
