It has been 10 years since residents in an extension area of San Estevan village in the Orange Walk Central constituency have been asking for potable water to be brought to their homes without any response. Not being one to see his people suffer in this manner, UDP Standard Bearer Denny Grijalva this week made that request a possibility.

With the assistance of Belize Water Services Limited and its Chairman Alberto August, the residents were facilitated with material enough to stretch 1000 feet for them to be connected to the water system in the village. The manpower to put down the pipes was provided by residents and the village chairman while Grijalva provided the heavy equipment for the trenching to be done.

Truly this is the kind of proactive measure which Denny is known for that will have him secure a seat in the House of Representatives.
