The 2014 Vega Cup Tournament continued on Sunday, August 10, at the Trial Farm Football Field in the Orange Walk North Constituency with four games on the schedule.

In the first game played, Douglas Real Juve and San Jose Pumas played to a 2-2 draw. The goals for Douglas Real Juve were scored by Josue Omar Mendez in the 14th minute of play and Azain Cardenas in the 38th minute of play.

For San Jose Pumas the goals were scored by Martin Francisco in the 4th minute of play and Jeffrey Yama in the 56th minute of play.

In the second game of the day, Jaguars United blasted Rising Stars by the score of 9-1. The goals for Jaguar United were scored by Jaime Maldonado in the 13th, 52nd, and 58th minutes of play, Edgar Itza in the 32nd minute of play, Andy Basto in the 57th minute of play, Enrique Castillo in the 73rd, 62nd and 67th minute of play and Clifton West in the 89th minute of play.

Meanwhile, the only goal of the game was scored by Jose Casanova in the 78th minute of play.

In game three, Santa Cruz Jrs edged out Barrio Boys by the score of 2-1. The goals for Santa Cruz Jrs were scored by Ruviney Carillo in the 23rd minute of play and Juan Moralez in the 84th minute of play, while the only goal of the game for Barrio Boys was scored by Adrian Uh in the 63rd minute of play.

And in the final game of the day, Douglas United and Untouchables played to a 2-2 draw. The goals for Douglas United were scored by Elvis Mendez in the 63rd minute of play and William Gonzalez in the 65th minute of play.

For the Untouchables, the goals were scored by Evan Reynolds in the 26th minute of play and Ernesto Chi in the 87th minute of play.

The competition will continue on Sunday August 17, commencing at 10:00 am at the Trial Farm Football Field. In the first game of the day it will be San Juan FC going up against Old School FC, followed by San Roman FC against White Eagles FC, and this will be followed by A.C. Aliari against San Pablo Youth F.C.

Meanwhile, in the final game of the day, the host team United Ballers will get to entertain Uprising.
