One of the largest Seventh Day Adventist Primary Schools in Belize, the Eden Seventh Day Adventist Primary School, opened on Monday of this week in Santa Elena Town, showcasing its brand new classrooms, kitchen and playground. Students and staff assembled in the School grounds on the first day of school for prayers and to celebrate the achievements that have been made over the last few months.

Earlier this year Seventh Day Adventist Missionaries had worked on several projects at the Eden Seventh Day Adventist Primary School. We enquired from Principal Tharine Gabourel the sources of all that help and she told us that all had come from international groups.

The School in Santa Elena Town now has all grade classes on the same grounds and now sports freshly built upper concrete classrooms as well as a brand new kitchen, equipped with modern appliances.
All the children at Eden Primary school were dressed smartly in their uniforms on Monday, while the teachers expressed a willingness to do their best in educating the children that they are now blessed to have for another school year.
